Welcome to Volunteering Queensland's online platform where you can connect with nonprofits and community groups that need your help.

You can search thousands of vast and varied volunteering opportunities throughout Queensland. You can get involved in the arts, environmental conservation, sports, welfare, or emergency services. You can help the homeless, children, animals, the elderly, refugees, or people living with disabilities. You can use or develop your skills in research, admin, tutoring, marketing, retail, management, and much, much more.

We have a large and diverse range of volunteering opportunities including one off events, short-term projects and long-term roles. Search based on your interests, motivations, availability and location. Whichever role you choose, you'll be helping Queensland communities.

Volunteer and make a difference in your community!

It's important that you choose a volunteer role that's a good match for you. Here are a few questions you should consider:

  • What are my motivations for volunteering?
  • Is there a cause that is close to my heart?
  • Are there particular skills I want to contribute or learn?
  • How much time can I commit?
